About Us
Enter Stage Right was founded in 1994 in Thames Ditton.
Enter Stage Right has successfully opened 2 new venues in Dorking. One at Friends Life on Saturday mornings and an after school club on Tuesdays at our Horsham Road venue.
In our drama classes we have been working on scenes from Wicked, Wizard of Oz and The Grinch. Dance classes have included choregraphy to Pixie Lott and singing classes with Adele, Bruno Mars and Maroon 5!
All of the children are encouraged to blossom and are never pushed into doing anything they don’t want to do. We like to ‘Bring Out The Best’. Every member of the Enter Stage Right team shares the philosophy of fun learning and positive encouragement. In our structured Drama classes we use games and improvisations. Along with sketches from plays the children learn to act and dance and sing. Along with the fun involved with acting, dancing and singing, our classes provide great tools to communicate and gain confidence, the opportunity to work in a team with other children who have the same interests and advise them on how to take performing to the next level.
Enter Stage Right students have gone on to study at specific Drama and Dance academies. A number of our children past and present have been involved with professional productions such as appearing on the CBBC programme Xchange, getting to the final 3 in the auditions for Harry Potter and appearing onstage in professional theatre productions.
We encourage all prospective students to trial our classes before committing to a term of lessons.
